Covid Update & Information

November 15th, 2020 – Leros Airport

As of today, COVID19 will most probably impact your traveling plans to Leros Airport, and Greece in general. Coronavirus is significantly impacting the travel industry, and we are currently under the second wave of the virus spread. Fortunately, Leros island had only 1 confirmed case of covid so far, and remained a safe travel destination during summer 2020.

As of November 15th, Greece is on lockdown, and our airport continues to operate with specific guidelines.

Dont stop traveling – Fly safe.

To prepare yourself for your trip in the fastest and safest way, please complete the online check-in from you home, or use the “self check-in” at the airport, wearing protective gloves.

Always wear the necessary personal pro-tective equipment (PPE) before entering the airport

Once you enter the airport, always remember to keep at least 1 meter away from other passengers and staff.

Group safety is important to us. That’s why you’ll find a lot of free sanitising gel dispensers at the airport, as well as trolleys and trays always sanitised at security.

Before your journey begins, our temperature scanners will check your temperature in a few moments.

Luggage is also sanitized at the baggage claim belt before being collected by passengers.

If you still have any questions, don’t worry: during your time at the airport, we will provide you with all the necessary information through our channels.
